Eight things.

I’ve been tagged to by Piper to let loose eight random facts about myself via the 8 Things Meme.

THE RULES
1. We have to post these rules before we give you the facts.
2. Players start with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. People who are tagged write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
4. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

So here it goes!

1. I used to have a gap in between my front teeth (I called it the Dorito catcher) until I chipped one. While getting them fixed the dentist closed up the gap. Even since then I felt like I have had some sort of plastic surgery done.
2. I have attended a New Kids on the Block concert with my girlfriend at that time. I swear!
3. I was in my High School’s Navy JROTC program for two years. It was here that I learned I was unfit for military duty and that the world became a little safer because of it.
4. I have never seen the following movies all the way through: Scarface, Braveheart, and A Clockwork Orange. I will now surrender my movie geek card.
5. As a practical joke I once covered up a co-worker’s cubicle name plate with a piece of paper that said Mr. Poopy Pants. I still laugh about it.
6. I still can’t let my leg or hand hang off the side of the bed for fear that a monster could grab it.
7. Quitting dipping was one of the hardest things I ever did.
8. The name of this blog was inspired by a intramural basketball team I played on in college called The Short Fat Kids. The team was composed of the shortest and/or fattest guys in our fraternity. We lost every game, but always had a large crowd of people that came to watch us as we attempted Harlem Globe Trotter’esque stunts. It was probably the best and longest running joke I was ever involved in.
