Three times dope.
Just thought I’d share three songs that XM has been clubbing me over the head with lately. All are right fine ditties that will stick in your craw. None are necessarily new, but all are worth a listen …
Beck’s Timebomb is a single he released late in the summer. He says it’s “a song for bonfires, blackouts, and the last hurrah of summer.” Sounds about right. (listen, lyrics, and a homemade fan video)
Spoon’s The Underdog sounds old school with the hand claps and tambourine and I love it. (listen, lyrics, and video)
The Kook’s Naive is a classic girl cheating on me tune and infidelity never sounded so good. (listen, lyrics, and a mediocre video)
P.S. Three Times Dope is a nice old school rap group responsible for great tracks like Funky Dividends.
