The Onion’s A.V. Club has posted a listing of 21 books that should be good movies. It’s an interesting article, but the listing also serves as a decent reading list. I’ve added a couple books from the post to my to-read list.
- Cordelia Underwood: Or, The Marvelous Beginnings of the Moosepath League by Van Reid
- The March: A Novel by E.L. Doctorow
- The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
Plus, I was happy to a see a couple of my favorites on the list.
- King Dork by Frank Portman
- World War Z by Max Brooks
- The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien
Try to make room for one of my favs-A Confederacy Of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole
wow – i’m really behind – but just wanted to add that The Time Traveler’s Wife is one of my absolute favorites. beautiful book.
