Breakfast to go.

August 31, 2007

On the way home from work tonight I passed a guy eating a bowl of cereal as he drove. I couldn’t tell what kind of cereal it was, but if it was Cap’n Crunch I would have been very jealous.

I believe the hype.

I have mentioned the Hype Machine on this blog and I link to it just about every time I write about music. Now you can see an interview with The Hype Machine’s creator, Anthony Volodkin.

Please.

Remember Wishing Well (lyrics, watch) by Terrence Trent Darby? I heard it on a radio playing in my work’s cafeteria today. I resisted the urge to do the robot, but I should have busted loose and got it out of my system since the song has been stuck in my head all day. Maybe by passing it on to you it will leave my brain.

Wish me love a wishing well to kiss and tell

Let’s wrastle.

It’d be tempting to call backyard wrestling the mulleted, inbred hillbilly cousin of professional wrestling but since professional wrestling is itself the mulleted, inbred hillbilly of the sports world that would be redundant.

Read BldgBlog’s very cool interview with Canadian urban explorer Michael Cook. Loads of great photography and factoids about Canada’s sewers.

Tumble on.

August 27, 2007

An interesting bit on tumbleblogging. I have set up a tumble blog to capture all the junk (twitter, this blog, del.icio.us, etc.) I spew forth, but really I think this blog is already kinda tumbleblog’ish. {Via}
