About
My name is Guy and I’m a thirty something husband, father, and geek. I live in Maryland where I kick balls, work, and try not to go ape doo doo in a traffic jam.
I have been publishing The Short Fat Kid since January 2006. I use this blog as a place to share the steady stream of links I find and photos I take. This mantra is occasionally interrupted with posts about mix tapes, gorilla suits, or other weighty issues. If you are so inclined you can receive updates from the Short Fat Kid in the RSS reader of your choice or via a daily message sent to your e-mail inbox.
I also save interesting links on del.icoi.us, upload my mediocre photos to Flickr, post my inane chatter to Twitter, add low quality videos to Vimeo, squawk about local joints on Yelp, and all of this junk is captured on my Tumblr blog.

I left a comment on FredNet as well about this, but http://www.mvn.com is looking for someone to blog about the Frederick Keys in order to add to our Orioles coverage. ( http://mvn.com/mlb-orioles/ )
Your writing is good and you can obvously give straight unfiltered opinions about stuff without being boring. (Plus you said poop = funny and that’s all it takes to sell me on a persons’ attitude!)
I see from a few posts that you give some interest to the Keys. If you’re a real fan, I’d like to talk to you about joining the MVN sports blog network.

Hello fellow engtech contest winner! So, is this the new blog theme?
April 20, 2007 at 8:51 am
Hey hows it going! Yes I change themes all the time. I’ve been messing with my free css upgrade but only have made minor changes so far. Are you going to do engtech’s next contest? I am I’m just trying to think about what to write.

I’ve already entered two movie ones – not terribly imaginative, I’m afraid. I’m going to try and come up with a good one for t-shirts next.

I have an idea for a movie one. I will post it soon. Also azahar, I dog your blog and added it to my blogroll.

I think I stumbled upon your blog through the “next blog” button, and I’m glad I did. Thanks for turning me on to CoComment, I’d been looking for something like that!

Cheers! I’ve put you on mine as well.
This theme is nice. It was the one I first started with but then I decided I wanted one with a header.
