November 21, 2007These oddly beautiful yet very scary photos of French nuclear bomb testing have been making the rounds on the InterWeb lately …
Looking at these photos reminds me of something one of my high school history professors said about the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. He hoped that the horror the world saw from the use of the A bomb on those cities was enough to prevent anyone from ever using those kinds of weapons again. We can only hope.
