The icy tree.

December 13, 2007

For some reason I really dig the icon for freezing rain and ice that the iGoogle’s weather gadget uses …

the icy tree

Hopefully you don’t see it much in your weather forecast though.

P.S. My favorite little icon is still BioShock’s telekinesis one.

A public apology.

To the dude I almost hit while pulling into the parking lot at work today:

Sorry man, didn’t see you. You totally blended into the scenery with your khakis and fall colored sweater. Also giving me the finger was unnecessary.

That is all.

A quick note.

If you are so kind as to subscribe to this blog, please use the Feedburner RSS Feed (http://feeds.feedburner.com/TheShortFatKid) so you do not miss out on any of my funtastic content. I have spliced my photos and del.icio.us links into the feed instead of re-posting that content here.

Also, I apologize if you are already using this RSS Feed and you are now overloaded with stuff you may have already seen.

Muchos Grassyass!

Two things that creep me out.

September 25, 2007

On a recent early morning walk I saw a couple odd things littering the ground of my hood. First was what appeared to be a clump of human hair. Long, dark, and stringy [shudder]. Later on I saw a baby doll head lying in the grass near the sidewalk [double shudder].

Now these seemingly odd items could be strewn about my hood because of the recent trash day. Or they could be signs of a baby doll head wielding, balding, serial killer roaming my neighborhood at 5:30 in the morning. That’s a reasonable fear, right?

Breakfast to go.

On the way home from work tonight I passed a guy eating a bowl of cereal as he drove. I couldn’t tell what kind of cereal it was, but if it was Cap’n Crunch I would have been very jealous.

Guess what I heard?

Remember Wishing Well (lyrics, watch) by Terrence Trent Darby? I heard it on a radio playing in my work’s cafeteria today. I resisted the urge to do the robot, but I should have busted loose and got it out of my system since the song has been stuck in my head all day. Maybe by passing it on to you it will leave my brain.

Wish me love a wishing well to kiss and tell

Make the music with your mouth.

The following is a list of my all time favorite sounds effects:

  1. nom, nom, nom – an eating sound
  2. bew, bew, bew – the sound lasers make (must be high pitched)
  3. arooooga, arooooga, arooooga – an alarm sound, usually made when your space ship is about to blow up or an intruder is discovered

Why make this list, you ask? I say why not! Happy Friday!

A fuzzy little bat.

Check out this little hand made bat …

See more of pipapiep’s photos on Flickr or buy this bat on Esty.

Something fun for all you zom-boys and zom-girls.

January 30, 2007

Check out these neat little zombie pins from Pinpops.

Each badge is made from various body parts and mutilations all picked at random and printed. The series was limited to 50 from a possible zombie horde of 32,000.

Too bad I’m not cool enough to pull off a pin, nor do I own any clothing worth sticking a pin in. Pinpops also has some pins for the Star Wars geeks out there.
