I finally downloaded Graduation by Kanye West and I’m a happy consumer. The album has a high percentage of non-skippers, which is a rarity these days. You are basically nodding your head to the music (Good Life) or to Kanye’s lyrics (Everything I Am) through the whole affair.

Listening to Can’t Tell Me Nothing got me thinking about the alternative video to the song that was making the InterWeb rounds a couple months ago …

I still get a chuckle out of Zach Galifianakis and Will Oldham’s faux pimpin’. But re-watching the video also reminded me off all the white rap fans there are out there. The Zach & Will version could be a homemade video from some West fans hailing from a rural farming community in Iowa. Instead of rolling in Lexus with rims they ride tractors. Instead of a hot hooker, waitress, model, actress they have the local dancing club. Get what I mean? Maybe not?
